This walk offers some great views, see pictures attached. Coffee/tea break. after 2.1 miles, Blackbrook.
The last mile is downhill to the River Gardens. Sheep and cattle in some fields, Dogs on Leads please.
Risk assessment
We cross the A517 four times, firstly via Pelican crossing, the other times there are good sight lines, but do take care on this busy road. We will go down two sets of steep stone steps, exiting on to a road, take care, you will be advised when we meet them. The route was very dusty when I did the recce’, you will know what happens when water and dust are mixed. Beware of tree roots in all woodlands tripping hazard. Take care if wet as surfaces may become slippery, a clue has already been given as to the reason. 07918882152 my contact number whilst walking.
