Ben Ledi, at 879m, is the highest peak in the Trossachs. This circular walk will approach the summit via the picturesque Stank Glen, and return to the car park via the "tourist route".
On a clear day, Ben Ledi offers fabulous views not just of the Trossachs, but it can be seen clearly from Stirling, and apparently is visible from the Cheviots.
Although this isn't a Munro, this walk involves rough tracks and steep mountain paths, with some sections involving walking over rough and occasionally boggy ground.
