Overview

Once we leave the roadside, we have a wide track to ascend to get our legs warmed up. We head towards the Loch Soy dam, part of the hydro power scheme in this area. Leaving the track, we use a path up the hillside which will eventually lead us to a rocky ridge. The path continues through to the main ridge and then to a trig point and cairn. There’s always a bit more, so we go another 200m to the summit cairn! Hopefully we will have excellent views of surrounding hills. We retrace our steps back to the cars. Parking charges apply at the Inveruglas Visitor Centre which will be incorporated into the voluntary fuel contribution.
