Overview

Circular walk from Pangbourne station (Berks). A mix of woodland, farmland and riverside giving a taste of the Berkshire Downs. Optional visit to the historic St Bartholomew's Church in Lower Basildon before last stretch along the Thames.

Please be prepared for overgrown paths and (in or after rain) mud. (Long trousers recommended, whatever the predicted temperatures.) Dogs warmly welcomed, as always, but must be able to deal with dense undergrowth.

Some hills but no stiles. Some road walking but I've tried to keep this to a minimum. 

Please bring a packed lunch and a supply of water as there are no catering facilities or shops on the route.
