Total ascent approx. 1400ft /420m with some steep sections . Predominately on paths
The hike through the town out of Bethesda (225m) is fairly steep. Our first ‘top’ is Moel Faban (409m) which on a good day gives excellent 360 views over to Anglesey and the Carneddau range. We will continue on an Easterly direction climbing Llefn (443m) Gyrn (542m) and Moel Wnion (580m). From here we follow a path (small section off trail) to meet up with the contour path and head clockwise back to the start.
In inclement weather this hike may be changed /rescheduled.
Given some sections are steep please ensure you have stout walking boots with good tread. Please ensure you check the forecast and bring appropriate clothing for the expected conditions.
