Overview

A circular and hilly walk starting in Bibury village before heading west through Arlington and Ablington then north through Ablington Downs and Lamborough Banks. We then head south-eastward to follow the Salt Way and New Covert Plantation and finally south by Hale Barn, Bibury Mill and back to the start.

Starting Point at 10:15: On the pavement of the main B4425 road ("The Street") in Bibury village and assemble next to the pedestrian footbridge which crosses over the River Coln to Arlington Row. The footbridge is opposite the Post Office (Address is 10 The Street, Bibury, Cirencester GL7 5NP); (NG Ref: SP116067); (W3W: vocally.ambushed.lungs) Travel Note: Bibury is a very popular tourist destination but has no public car park. Parking is therefore limited in "The Street" so please share cars where possible.
