Overview

We walk through Bibury past the church and onto the track which passes Bibury Court, through woodland, then through fields alongside the River Coln (may need to detour in places if flooded) to reach Coln St Aldwyns for our refreshment stop (hopefully Coln Stores Cafe will be open). We return up the hill and across fields to the Salt Way above Arlington row. Some moderate inclines and descents.

From Cirencester, after coming down the hill into Bibury, cross the bridge and please park where you can on the right hand side of the road alongside the river. We’ll meet on the riverside pavement at a spot nearest the bridge. I strongly advise meeting at Trinity Road CP to car share wherever possible.
