Overview

We will start in front of the Birnam arts centre, as limited parking car sharing is recommended. This centre is home to Beatrix Potter exhibition and hopefully we have time to visit after our long walk. However those joining later doing shorter walks may wish to visit this and meet up with other walkers at The Royal Dunkeld Hotel for our evening meal.

This is a lovely walk along the river Braan to the Hermitage,  Ossian's Cave, Pine Cone and Totem pole before returning the same way. Hopefully weather good as the trees will be changing colour, river running fully and the doughnut cabin may still be there ( may be seasonal).
