A circular walk beginning along the Eastern edge of the Bishopston Valley, then across farm land to the beatiful lake at Middle Killay. The walk continues to Dunvant and then along the route 4 cycle track past the Railway inn. The walk turns right off the cycle path and on to the bridleway to Keeper's Cottage. Due to moutain bikes & horses using the bridleway, the walkers start to the bridleway to Keeper's Cottage is a few tens of metres further along the route 4 cycle track, than indicated on OS maps, even the electronic ones. From Keepers Cottage the walk continues along the bridleway to Clyne Castle, before turning up hill to cross the golf course & return to Bishopston.
Dog friendly, but must they be put on a lead near livestock
There maybe refreshments at the Bishopston Post Office at the start & perhaps Dunvant, aswell as the Railway inn.
