Overview

Meet: 09.00   - Walk Start: 10.00    Grade C    OS Map: 20  -  Grid Ref: 375708

Directions:  Approx 13 miles from Contin (and a couple miles before the Aultguish Inn park at Black Bridge car park on the right hand side of the road.

Route:  In the tranquil west we walk for a couple of miles along Strath Vaich to a weir and our tea break close to Lubriach. Continue through a sometimes muddy, short forest section into open country where there may be cattle. The Loch Vaich track is then followed to the highest point in the Coire a’Ghrianain area.  As it is winter we will curtail the walk at this point and not continue to Lubachlaggan. Good paths throughout the Strath and a chance of spotting deer and eagles. Return by outward route,
