Overview

For those who missed the leader's "Over and under The Rowley Hills " walk in 2024 this is another chance to see the panoramic views from the highest point in the Black Country but this time without getting your feet wet in the scary tunnel! Walking through a nature reserve and along canal towpaths followed by a long steep climb over Portway Hill to Turners Hill, the highest point in the West Midlands at 271 metres then on to Darby`s Hill. Return via parks, nature reserve and canal towpath. Steep climbs and descents, some paths may be overgrown and muddy. 3 stiles. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.
