Overview

Starting from the car park in Blanchland we walk in a northerly direction, past Pennypie House to Slaley Forest. Just before we get there we turn in a south westerly direction along the Carrier's Way to the shooters' hut at Blackburn Head. We might have lunch there (walking speed depending) and we turn towards Newbiggin and Blanchland.
