Overview

Starting at Blatchington Windmill we follow the route of the old Dyke railway before heading up Varncombe Hill towards the magical Newtimber Hill and then down to Saddlescombe Farm for coffee/lunch break at the wonderful Wildflower Cafe. The return takes us up Devil's Dyke, across the golf course and back to the windmill. If time and/or energy permits there is the option to visit Benfield Heath Nature Reserve (+ 1 mile). Stunning views from Newtimber Hill!
