Overview

Bluebell hunting from King William IV Pub. Striding out via Braziers Park and picking up the Icknield Way we will make our merry way (as in not Grim - its a route pun / joke) to Stoke Row. This is a circular walk. It will be mostly on tracks in fairly open ground with some wooded sections so please expect it to be muddy under foot. Apart from the pub at the end of the walk, there are no public toilet facilities but there will be ample cover opportunities to cater for any natural breaks required. We plan to stop for a short break at about the 4 mile mark (banana?) and again at 8 miles (lunch?). I plan to have a meal (early supper) in the pub after the walk. You are welcome to join us but please contact the pub directly (01491 681845) and say you want to be added to the LVR (my) table booking. You are also welcome to join us just for a drink in the pub after the walk but please do not feel obliged to. Its also OK not to.

The walk will start from the King William IV pub car park. I have spoken to the landlady and we have permission to park in the top car park - behind and above the pub. (Obviously she would be keen we pop in after the walk.) Parking a large group of cars is becoming a bit of an issue these days and many places charge. I would rather support a local pub with my custom than pay to park. Bring packed lunch.
