You are neither up nor down. Starting from the first zig of the zig-zag road, we shall go steadily up, at a gentle pace, through the delightful Parish Wood with its yew trees and box, for which Box Hill is famed. Then we will visit the My Life Tree Trail, before circling around the top of Box Hill, with a pause to enjoy the stunning views over Dorking, and across the Weald towards the South Downs. Next, we shall have the option of a cup of tea or other refreshments at the National Trust cafe before we go back down the hill. No stiles, but yes some contours! A slope up at the start and a short section of steps down at the end.
