We are the Southwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a 7.5 mile leisurely walk starting at Bradgate Park, Hallgates car park, visiting Bradgate Park, Village of Woodhouse Eaves, and Swithland Wood. We will see herds of roaming deer, a war memorial, the folly of Old John Tower and ancient woodland.
Please contact the Leaders to let them know that you are coming on the walk. Please leave your name, contact telephone number and email address. Please also state whether you intend going to the designated meeting place or directly to the start of the walk. This will help ensure that you are not left behind. This should not be regarded as "booking a place".
If you later find that you cannot come on the walk, please notify the Leaders as soon as possible in order that the group is not waiting for you to arrive on the day.
There will be a refreshment stop and a lunch stop, so bring a drink, snack and some food.
