Overview

This is an 8.5 to 9 mile linear walk from Brading through to the Old Smithy in Godshill, passing across Brading Downs, Kern Farm and through towards Merstone before reaching Godshill.

This is a mix of country walking on paths and tracks, road walking and on a section of the cycletrack.

The walk will start at the 'Old School/Brading Youth & Community Centre (BYCC)' in Brading, with the nearest bus stops a few feet away, whilst the destination has regular buses (the 2 & 3) back to Brading.

We have also been granted permission to park at the rear of the BYCC and I'll arrive at approx 10am to unlock the gate for anyone wishing to park there.

There are a couple of good spots for a snack/drink stop and we do pass Pedallers Cafe at around the halfway stage of the walk.
