Commemorate the 110th anniversary of the start of the Great War, 4 Aug 1914, by joining us for a tour of 7 cemeteries around Newport and Cowes, where war graves are tended by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Our guide will be Gary Newman of the CWGC.
We will be heading up the eastern side of the Medina, crossing the floating bridge, stopping for lunch in Cowes, before heading back down the western side.
New walkers welcome. If you are new to the Ramblers you can just turn up for any of our walks, unless we specify otherwise. We invite you to come along for three walks as a non-member.
