Overview

What is more evocative than straddling the Highland Boundary Fault as this walk does? We start well below the Branklin Falls car park, but on the plus side, that does mean that after the cafe stop in Callander at the end you will not be left with the reascent. After a stop at the Branklin Falls to admire the spectacle we cross the bridge (replaced since my last visit) and make our way up to a track and then down to cross the Keltie Water joining the tarmac road for a couple of kilometres before ascending and then traversing Callander Crags (admiring the 1897Jubilee Cairn) to Callander. Back in Linlithgow 4pm.
