This is a walk from the Hidden Car Park on the road from Powburn to Branton. Grid ref NU 049 165. You turn left as you leave Powburn before the 30mph signs north bound. The parking area is behind the hedge 0.7 miles from the main road.
The walk will take in Branton / Fawdon / Ryehill / nearly Prendwick / Ingram. It is about 9 miles with1000ft ascent approx.You may wish to wear gaiters and use poles . There will be a coffee stop and a lunch break.
