Starting from the Old Plough pub at Braunston we head towards the Grand union canal, skirt Sawbridge and head over the river Leam and up to the village of Willoughby. From there we will follow the Oxford canal and return to Braunston.
We will be walking on fields, tracks, some minor roads and canal tow paths.
There will be two breaks. Coffee will be on the canal path and we will stop for lunch in Willoughby.
Walking poles may be useful as it could be muddy after heavy rain. About 7 stiles
