Overview

An easy walk over fields and lanes passing Hawkshutts Farm, the lower end of Belvide Reservoir, and the site of Black Ladies Priory. A few stiles but mainly gates. A brief history given in places, if wanted.

Please arrive at the start at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time to allow a prompt start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Walkers should check on www.walsallramblers.org.uk that the walk has not been cancelled before leaving home.
If a member has a medical issue which may affect their participation on the walk, please advise the walk leader before the start of the walk. Please inform the back marker if a comfort stop is needed or if you are leaving the walk early.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Accessible by public transport (Select Bus route 876 to/from Stafford not Wolverhampton, then 1.25-mile walk).
Please patronise the pub after the walk to thank them for the use of their car park. Please double-park in the overspill car park at the back.
