Overview

From Bruisyard Village Hall we take an anticlockwise route along either side of the Alde Valley, visiting Sweffling Church (not open) where we will have a short break. Skirting Rendham we pass poet George Crabbe’s house, then return to Bruisyard along the north slope of the valley.
We walk on field margins, tracks and quiet roads, some small sleeper bridges, maybe areas of long vegetation.
