Overview

(Modified 2/2/2026)

We walk up through a beautiful avenue of trees in Burrington Ham to the hill fort. and a view point where we can look down into Burrington Coombe onto the famous Rock of Ages. Further on is Long Rock with views accross Chew Valley. We cross the Burrington Coombe road and climb the hill to Beacon Batch for our coffee stop. From the Trig. point we get good wide views as we cross and descend from Black Down. We return to the car park via Link Lane.
