We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from the Greyhound pub at Burston, our walk takes us up to The Shruggs and then across to Sandon Church where we will stop for a short coffee break.
From there we walk down the lane towards Sandon and then on to a stretch of the Trent & Mersey Canal. A short meander through Burston Village takes us back to the pub.
The first half of the walk is mainly over farmland and may be a little boggy in places, although we encountered no seriously muddy sections, or farm animals on our recce. There are five stiles, the first is a bit tricky, but the remaining four are fine.
