We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The route of this gently undulating downland walk follows the Ridgeway westwards before heading down to West Ilsley. From here we return to the Ridgeway via Hodcott House and Hodcott Down. The paths and tracks we shall use are all clearly defined, and there are no stiles. There are extensive views of the beautiful West Berkshire and South Oxfordshire countryside.
Please bring refreshments for our mid-walk break in West Ilsley churchyard.

The Ridgeway car park at Bury Down is on Bury Lane and can be accessed either from West Ilsley or from the A34. Parking is available on both sides of the road.
