Overview

A lovely walk through several woods now full of bluebells and wild garlic - we walk down to Ysceifiog Lake, and through woods past the lake then through Y Ddol Nature Reserve. We then walk briefly along the main road at Afon Wen before beginning the first of the two main height ascents nearly back to Caerwys. After this, we then descend again through woods, before finally turning uphill again for the second main ascent through Coed Maes Mynan, and then a smaller final wood before finishing in Caerwys.
