Overview

Come and join us on the Brain Power Munro Challenge! This is an informal event being organised by the well known Scottish journalist, Glenn Campbell. The aim is to have as many teams as possible summit Munros across Scotland in a single day to raise awareness of brain tumours and vital funds for life saving research.

On the advice of the Legal Eagles at Ramblers (itself a charity) we are not in a position to collect money on behalf of Glen Campbell’s Campaign but if you wish, you can donate direct at: -

https://www.justgiving.com/page/glenn-campbell-1702153758992

If doing so please mention that you are part of “Team Linlithgow Ramblers and Hillwalkers".

To encourage as many of you as possible to take part, we've chosen a straightforward hillwalk that will allow you to do 1, 2 or 3 Munros. Most of the route is on paths and tracks and the full circuit takes in 3 Munros – Carn Aosda, Carn a’ Gheoidh and The Cairnwell.

Pre-registration is required for this walk. Please contact Doreen Wilson on 07903 584606 (preferably by text or WhatsApp message) by Thursday 7th August.

Please note that the estimated finish time is when we expect the walk to end, not the time we expect to be back in Linlithgow.
