This is the 5th of our Capital Ring walks and is the final leg on the southside until we arrive back in Woolwich in May. There is no obligation to do all of them - you can pick and choose the ones that you fancy.
We will meet outside Richmond Station at 10.30am. For those who like to arrive early there are lots of coffee shops in the area
There is a major event in the first 30 minutes – we go to the north side of the Thames! After crossing we follow the river until we come to Syon House – the London home of the Duke of Northumberland. There will be an opportunity for refuelling before we move on, skirting the edge of Brentford before reaching Osterley Lock. We follow the Grand Union Canal walk, quickly leaving the M4 behind us as we then move onto the Brent River Park walk. We make our way past Ealing hospital before reaching Perivale Park and our destination of Greenford station. Greenford station is in Zone 4 on the Central line. Alternatively mainline trains (via West Ealing) get you to Paddington in c25 minutes
