We are the Collingham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A flat walk through farmland and villages, passing the Horseshoe Tower at Scarrington and through the pretty villages of Screveton and Car Colston.
Terrain is a mixture of fields, lanes and some country roads. There are a few stiles and some parts of the walk are overgrown so long trousers are recommended.
There were livestock in some of the fields.
There will be the usual coffee and lunch stops so please bring your own refreshments.
Starting point The Green at Car Colston near the Royal Oak NG13 8JE OS Grid SK718426: What3words leaky.panther.cowboy. From Newark take the A46 towards Nottingham and take the exit towards Bingham and East Bridgford. At the roundabout take the first exit to Car Colston and park around the Green on left or right hand sides.
