There is livestock (sheep and cattle) in some of the fields.

Some parts of the route are overgrown so long trousers are recommended.

Several stiles, some of which are higher than normal.

There will be the usual coffee and lunch stops so please bring your own refreshments and something to sit on.

There will be an opportunity for a drink at the end of the walk.

Starting point is the green at Car Colston near the Royal Oak. From Newark take the A46 towards Nottingham and take the exit towards Bingham and East Bridgford. At the roundabout take the first exit to Car Colston and park around the green.
