Overview

Join us in beautiful Shropshire for this hilly walk, taking in The Lawley and Caer Caradoc, returning via the Hope Bowdler Ridge and the Battle Stones to our starting point in the pretty village of Cardington. The two main hills present a good challenge in the middle of the walk with the added benefit of being able to view the first part from the return ridge, maintaining interest. The route takes some minor roads but is mostly on good footpaths and grassy tracks without too much mud underfoot. The hills are prone to windy weather so walking poles and strong footwear will be beneficial, particularly on the steeper descent sections. Given the distance, participants may wish to car share. 3127 ft asc. Tel 07498917265. Full Day. Bring lunch and adequate liquids. Booking is essential and opens from 30/09/2025.
