Overview

Paula will be leading a circular walk in the tributary valleys of Cardinham Water to the remains of the Bury Castle Hill Fort. Panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the Downs following woodland paths, bridleways and fields. Points of interest include the remains of a large Iron Age Fort at Bury Castle and Cardinham Church. Refreshments at Aerodine cafe, Bodmin Airfield.

Boots, food and drink. Well behaved dogs are welcome on short leads. The walk includes four stiles, one of which may need dogs being lifted over. It could be muddy in places.
