Circular Hike in the Pentland Hills-Very Pleasant, with a couple of wee challenges along the way !
Reasonable To Good level of Hill fitness required, with a reasonably steep assent to Turnhouse Hill 506m-drop off 75mt thena less steep hike re-assend 160mt to Carnethy (summit of 573m)
Ground Condition - Muddy in places. Consider using poles and gaiters.
Caution, Very slippy in places throughout the route.
Parking - At the HareLaw Resevior side Car Park.
Tea break will be in Pleasant woodland area just after walk Glenclose Reservoir section.
Hopefully weather permitting - we wil take in some great views from Carnethy Hill, And have lunch on the summit.
Desend via blackhill path (Caution- muddy & slippy section)
