Hi everyone!
I present you this wee gem to go and explore with me on a Saturday morning! As mentioned in the title this is quite a good one if you want to get a little bit more fit with your inclines and are not quite munro ready as the elevation gain will be 412m. This will quite a challenging route as the terrain can be quite muddy and we will need to cross a few small streams so please wear appropriate waterproof shoes. The route is 13.5 km and will take us about 4 hours to complete. This route is recommended for people with a moderate level of fitness. Having snacks and drink along the way is a must.
The parking is very limited so we will be only be able to take 3 cars. So please let me know if you can take your car and carshare. I'm going to say if we can get 3 people per car + driver we can have 12 people attend this walk hence the number of attendees is quite limited so if you can no longer attend please mark yourself as no longer going on the event. There is nothing to mark on a map so please travel to 57.06512280670707, -2.7781440970691422 and park there. The Pin on meetup is a rough estimation.
We will continue to register attendance using the Ramblers App. If you are a Ramblers member, it would be helpful if you could either bring your membership card along, or download and login to the Ramblers app. If you are not a Ramblers member, I will ask for your name, postcode and e-mail at the start, for submission of the register to the Ramblers.
Important: If this is your fourth or more walk with AYW then you need to have Ramblers membership:
