Overview

The route follows the canal to Hodgson’s Bridge and heads over the M6 to the green at Over Kellet. We climb up to Slack’s Wood and continue through Kit Bill Wood and Helks Wood, which skirts around a quarry and emerges at a viewpoint on Laithbutts Lane track. After lunch, we pass through Nether Kellet and join the canal back to Crag Bank.
