Overview

A walk with Dave and Jane from Carsington village to Carsington Water-towards Hopton. Up to the High Peak trail. Straight across and up to Griffe Grange and then Harboro Rocks for lunch.  Returning to Carsington village for a well-earned drink at the pub via a short distance on the High Peak trail and finally a fairly short but pretty steep downhill.

Details -A steady climb up to the trail and Harboro Rocks and a steepish descent into Carsington village. Remainder of walk undulating. Mainly, tracks, pasture-land and minimal road walking. Minimal mud expected.
