Overview

A 7.0 mile moderate circular walk, with some steep sections, to reach Castell Coch and then continuing up to the sculpture trail.

Starting from the Radyr station, we will cross the Taff river and follow the Taff trail to Tongwynlais and on to Castell Coch. We will continue up to the sculpture trail before returning to the base of Castell Coch and retracing our steps on the Taff trail, diverting through the Glamorganshire canal to return to Radyr station.

The walk includes 195m elevation, on mixed terrain and may be muddy in sections. Boots, walking poles and waterproofs are recommended.
