This is a pleasant walk, to the coast at Horden Beach, through the Dene from the visitor centre and back. Hopefully, weather permitting, we will picnic for lunch overlooking the sea.

This is a moderate figure of 8 walk with some challenging short ups and downs, about 5.5 miles, along footpaths of various surfaces.

There are no stiles and approximately 6 gates.

We have to cross a busy road in both directions.

As the path is partly overgrown, boots and long trousers are advisable. Sticks may also be useful to push back vegetation.

  • Refreshments available (Pub/cafe)
