Overview

Mainly farm tracks and roads, occasional footpaths which may be unclear. Hazards include 2 level crossings of Leeds to Hull railway and a crossing of the A63 dual carriageway. Items of interest are the fortified gatehouse at Steeton Hall (detour) and the former shooting lodge at Ledston Lodge. Also the villages of Newthorpe and Ledsham.

Note: We use a booking system in case of last-minute changes to the walk details or for Illness, weather or car parking etc. Please book a place by contacting Allan Matthews on 0792 9983493, or via email (allldm14@gmail.com). Although we do accept walkers on the day.
