Overview

A mainly woodland walk from the Norman motte and bailey Castle Neroche, along sections of the East Deane Way round to Staple Fitzpaine.  One steady ascent of about 600 ft. in the afternoon. Coffee stop and Picnic at Staple Fitzpaine with the chance of a warm up in the pub
