Overview

Here is an opportunity to visit the two highest hills in Dorset. From the top of Pilsdon at 908ft there is an exceptional 360° view and on a clear day, I believe, one of the best viewpoints across Southern England. In contrast Lewesdon 7ft higher, owned by the NT, is wooded with glimpses of the surroundings through the trees. Much of the walk follows the Wessex Ridgeway with two steepish climbs and one a long gentler climb.
