Overview

Enjoy views of the sea and across the Mawddach estuary to the ridges of Cadair Idris on this walk using paths, tracks and lanes in the hills above Barmouth. From the car park we head up to Bwlch y Llan and then follow the path to Cerrig Arthur, the remains of a Bronze Age stone circle. Here we turn to head back past the substantial farm of Sylfaen, continuing though woodland to the hamlet of Cutiau. Thence along an old track, which was once a coach road, and back to the start.
