The Chalfonts, Seer Green & Jordans

We start our walk in Chalfont St Giles, following the Misbourne initially, before climbing up through fields to the top of Hodgemoor Woods. We then descend the woods to head over to Seer Green for a picnic lunch in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church. (Optional visit to one of two adjacent pubs for additional refreshments). After lunch, we skirt through Jordans and across fields and woods towards Chalfont St Peter, before re-joining the Misbourne for an easy walk back to Chalfont St Giles. There are public toilets 200m from the start of the walk, as well as in Chalfont St Peter, where we will make a brief afternoon stop at St Peter's Church. Those visiting one of the pubs will have facilities there, and there will be other al fresco opportunities along the way. There are not many stiles, if any (tbc). Car parking is available in Blizzards Yard behind the Coop in Chalfont St Giles High Street (76 spaces) at a cost of £3.80 for 4 hours or more.
