Meet at Richmond station(toilets) at 10:30am. We cross over to the north bank of the Thames, and follow it to Syon Park,where we will pause for coffee at the garden centre.We will then join a canal system through Brentford,which was a highly industrialised zone in Victorian times,eventually rejoining the Thames at Soaphouse creek,and on to Kew bridge.We then cross Gunnersbury Park,to finish the walk at Acton town station. Just down the road is the Red Lion & Pineapple,where the leader will be lunching,and would welcome your company.
