A 7.5 mile, barely undulating route across crop fields, pastures and park land offering some fine, open vistas. We leave Cuxham village, passing the site and memorial of the eponymous Civil War battle before crossing a solar farm to reach the quaint hamlet of Easington. We then head across fields to Cuxham, Brightwell Baldwin and Brightwell Park to return to Chalgrove, passing St Mary's Church, famous for its early 14th century wall paintings. Underfoot conditions should be generally good, with some muddy sections likely this time of year. Please bring refreshments for one stop.
