Overview

Updated: The walk starts from Chalkney Woods, where the blue bells are fantastic this year, then goes along the Colne River valley to Ford Street, before returning to the Swan Inn at Chappel Inn for lunch (see menu link). Long morning: 6.5 miles (with some ups and downs); very short afternoon 2.6 miles. Lunch at the Swan or sandwiches can be eaten outside on the benches
