Overview

From Chapmore End we will head North East to the edge of Woodhall Park before turning South to follow the River Beane.  We walk to Waterford Marsh, on the way passing through some of the more attractive sections of the River.  We return to our starting point via the wooded sections of Waterford Heath and the abandoned gravel pit South of Chapmore End.

A walk on good paths and tracks. Some sections along the river and at Waterford Heath could be muddy.  The pub at Chapmore End is not normally open at lunchtime.

Park and meet near the pond at Chapmore End. There is not a lot of parking , hence car sharing would be helpful. I would be happy to give 3 people a lift.
