Overview

Meet at the car park on Chappel Railway Station approach road, where spaces maybe limited, so car-sharing would be ideal. This a circular walk to Earls Colne for lunch. Bring a picnic lunch and eat it at The Drum Inn, provided some liquid refreshment is purchased. On the walkout, the post-lunch section alongside the River Colne provided a generous supply of urtica (aka stinging nettles), so come prepared.

This walk was cancelled back in 2020 by a Covid19 Tier 4 restriction, so it’s about time it took place!
