Starting from the FREE car park opposite Chasetown football club, we cross the A5195 into Chasewater Country Park. After walking around the main lake and visiting a couple of the smaller lakes we cross the M6 Toll into Brownhills and join part of the Wyrley & Essington canal, before completing our walk around Chasewater.
There is a wide variety of water fowl to see and a very good chance of getting near the local Red Deer population.
Apart from crossing two footbridges and one stile the walk is almost entirely flat. The pathways are mostly well-made but there may be some muddy sections.
We will stop for a short break during the walk so please bring your own refreshments.
Hopefully we may be able to call in at the nearby Uxbridge Arms for a snack or a drink after the walk.
